Dan Osborn is a Navy vet, union guy, industrial mechanic, and lifelong independent.

Dan is an independent who ran for US Senate against an incumbent Republican Senator. Dan overperformed the presidential ballot by more than any other U.S Senate candidate in the country. His historic 14-point overperformance, driven by support from working class Democrats, Republicans, and Independents, proves that the right candidate and the right message can unite the working class to challenge the system and change our politics.

Dan is able to bring working class Democrats, Republicans and Independents together because he’s actually from the working class. Traveling to every corner of Nebraska, Dan saw there is a working class consensus on the key issues, and that’s what he ran on: protect American workers, stand up to party bosses that sell out the working class, close the border, get huge corporations out of our politics, and end extreme abortion bans that result in government mandated pregnancies. 

Founded by Dan Osborn, The Working Class Heroes Fund builds on Dan’s historic campaign. 

The Working Class Heroes Fund is the only organization in the country dedicated to uniting and mobilizing working people across party lines to give the working class a seat at the table. Dan is doing this work to pave the way for nurses, teachers, plumbers, carpenters and other working class people to run for office. The PAC:

• organizes working class voters to mobilize for working class issues and working class candidates;

• supports working class candidates, particularly patriots who have served their country, who are building cross partisan coalitions to give the working class a seat at the table;

• fights for policies that strengthen working class jobs and families;

• supports labor unions and strike funds. 

While Dan is spearheading the effort to give the working class a seat at the table, he also needs to get back to his regular job to put food on the table for his family. That’s why after Dan’s campaign, he is returning to work as a steamfitter.
